PAC welcomes the judgement With Both Hands and plan ahead.
The south Gauteng Appeal Court has vindicated and affirmed the central authority of the PAC. Letlapa Mphahleles case was dismissed and he remains expelled.
The party has been afforded an opportunity to heal and move forward, in this regard, the PAC will focus on the party unity.
We call upon all those who were misled and in some cases intimidated to follow Letlapa Mphahlele to come back to the party.
It has always been the position of the party that we expelled an individual and not group of people, in this regard, the work has already started to integrate those who were lost back to party structures and engage on party programmes. We also take this opportunity to apologise to the public at large for the time wasted in the courts.
It has never been the intentions of the organisation but we had to defend ourselves when we were dragged in the courts of law, we have also come to accept that litigation is part of democratic dispensation.
The party has begun to roll out the 2016 Local Government Elections Programme. All our structures have started to engage with the programme energetically. In the coming days, this will be our area of focus.
The leadership of the PAC under Cde Luthando Mbinda remains resolute in its programmes going forward.
